How We Help

What We Do

KLA Memorial provides education, resources, support, and connections to services for mothers and families through three primary areas of work.

Strong Mothers

Supporting pregnant and postpartum mothers through maternal health education, childbirth education, birth preparation, preventative resources, safe sleep education, pregnancy and postpartum support, and connections to healthcare and community resources.

Healing Hearts

Providing mental wellness education, emotional support, resources, and connections to counseling and other supportive services for women and families navigating pregnancy, postpartum, grief, and other life challenges.

Angels of Comfort

Providing compassionate support to families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss, including infant burial and cremation assistance, grief resources, education, and connections to supportive services.

What Areas We Help

Our primary service area is Central Alabama, with programs, community education, partnerships, and direct support reaching families throughout Birmingham and surrounding communities.
We also provide educational materials, online resources, and virtual information that can be accessed by individuals and families throughout Alabama and beyond.
Available services may vary based on program eligibility, available resources, funding, and geographic location.
